Geek Talk

There are a lot of specialties and sub-specialities when it comes to the internet. I’m a generalist: a techy, designer and marketeer all in one.

Various web protocols I use regularly:

HTML, PHP, CSS, PERL (CGI), MYSQL databases.

Design software I use:

Dreamweaver and MoveableType content management systems. I have some experience in programs such as Quark Xpress, Adobe Pagemaker, Adobe Photoshop.

Web 2.0 Services I adore:

I’m a big believer in the new round of internet services that are popping up every day. Generally labeled “Web 2.0” they talk with one another and allow website designers to put together sites that are very easy for non-techies to update. My Quakerquaker.org site has a list of some of my favorite Web 2.0 services, which includes Del.icio.us, Flickr and Feedburner.
